Each school district’s attendee(s) will be trained as implementation trainers for The Styer-Fitzgerald Functional Academics Program.
The attendees will be prepared to train district staff to administer the placement assessment, teach the curriculum, and collect and use progress data.
The training covers assessing students, appropriate placement in the curriculum, teaching procedures, creating and updating IEP’s, on-going progress data collection, reporting, and related topics such as classroom organization and modifications.
The training includes presentations, hands-on practice, interactive application to your district’s specific needs, and, as available, classroom observations in local schools.
A free 1 hour follow-up Q & A webinar with the trainer is provided to answer questions after implementation has been underway for a period of time. It is scheduled based on your district’s needs (and trainer availability).
Travel, food, and lodging to be covered by the attendee(s) school or district.
